LEACH LIBRARY MEMBERS VOTE TO JOIN LOCAL 633

The employees of Leach Public Library in Londonderry, NH voted unanimously to join Teamsters Local 633 on February 12. This group of Library Technicians stood solidly together to protect the terms and conditions of their employment. Library Trustees have previously made sweeping changes to the Employee Personnel Plan to include removing cost of living and merit increases, along with other additional benefits. The group is excited to move forward to negotiate a first contract that will ensure that they will have an acceptable working environment moving forward, which would allow them to continue to provide the community with a much-loved service. Secretary Treasurer Jeff Padellaro stated “The Executive Board and I are excited to welcome the Leach Library workers into the Local 633 family. We will fight together to protect their terms and conditions of employment now and for the future.”
