International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 633 Business Agent and Political Coordinator Rick Laughton, accompanied by Teamster International Representative Trish DiSilva, recently met with Congressional candidate Stefany Shaheen in Dover. Stefany Shaheen is absolutely a pro-labor candidate and has pledged her support on all issues concerning our members. During the meeting, many important topics affecting working families and union members were discussed, including workplace safety, unemployment, directing more resources to trade schools, and rebuilding the union middle class. Teamsters First Student National Negotiation Committee met in Washington, DC

This week the Teamsters First Student National Negotiation Committee met in Washington, DC preparing to negotiate a new master agreement. Rank-n-file members and local representatives from across the country began planning and discussing priorities before the contract expires on March 31, 2026, and before negotiations kick off on January 14. The National Master First Student Agreement – is the largest collective bargaining agreement in the private school bus industry & protects more than 18, 000 members nationwide. Teamsters Local 633 mourns the passing of lifelong member Joe Rienert. He was a proud United States Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Albany. He was an active member of the American Legion Henry J Sweeney Post Number 2 where he valued the camaraderie and the service it represented. Joe was a truck driver with True Value for 36 years and served for many years as a Shop Steward. He was highly skilled and a dedicated professional driving nearly 3 million miles accident free.
